Fair Córdoba starts tomorrow!!!

Córdoba is particularly beautiful and joyful in the month of May.

In Andalucía is typical gypsy dress.

My class and I go to the fair on Wednesday with the same t-shirts.

Dance and sing a lot!!!

París, the city of love...!!

I talked before about Dominican Republic, now I will talk a little about the other country I've visited "France".

Two years ago, I had a scholarship for fifteen days, with accommodation in París.

I knew no one, but there I met many people.

I liked most were the different views: Eiffel tower, the Sacred heart, Triumphal arch, Tower of Notredame, the Seine...

I liked least was the food, also life in París is very expensive.

"Mamajuana" the typical drink in Dominican Republic

Mamajuana is an alcoholic drink.  

There are two types of Mamajuana. One type is made with seafood, and the other type is made with sticks of wood of different trees. Then both types are mixed with: red wine, rum and a little honey. The mixture rest a week, for the seafood or wooden sticks absorb the liquid. Finally, discard the remaining liquid, and we fill the container with rum. 
This drink is an aphrodisiac, and is also used as a remedy for some diseases.

This song is popular in Punta Cana, is the Omega group.
Now this song is very famous in Córdoba pubs.

Bachata, merengue, salsa....

Bachata, merengue, salsa... these are the typical dances in República Dominicana.
The dominican people know perfectly dance  these dances, because it is part of their culture.
These dances are very sensual.
Bachata is slower than merengue and salsa, but it's my favourite.
Bachata songs are usually sad,it's about love.
However, merengue and salsa although are about love, it produce joy.

It has a funny dance.
The dance is to go to the right, to the left, backward, up front, jump, move your feet ...
This is like "the Macarena dance" in Spain!!
